Position: Team Manager (Group Reservations department)
Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: Full Time - Permanent Shift basis, Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:00am - 7:00pm
Salary: £27,000 DOE P/A + Company Bonus and Other Benefits
Due to growth and success, we are currently looking for a Group Reservations Team Manager to join our client based in Ellesmere Port.
The ideal candidate will have gained previous management experience and skills as well as running a team is a must. You will possess strong leadership skills, be committed, enthusiastic and supportive team member. Must be able to compile accurate business reports and letters as well as attend and contribute to senior level meetings or departmental reviews.

About the role:
Help assist team each morning to prioritise workloads and allocating jobs to staff members
Ensure a rota is in place to cover all shift patterns
Creating and implementing staff PDP's
Strive to boost productivity whilst maintaining the high level of staff morale
Quality control of emails and calls ensuring service standards are achieved
Improve processes and efficiencies of the reservations department to reduce errors
Drive and lead process improvements ensuring teams sales targets are achieved
Improve call stats by thinking of ways by streamline processes and reduce call volumes
Take on new projects and process effectively and efficiently
Work closely with the Group Operations Team Manager to ensure a smooth 5-star customer journey from start to finish
Work closely with the systems team to escalate system faults as soon as they happen and work with sales to communicate these to agents if needed
Deal with escalations from Team and investigate any errors to minimise costs
Assist with Training / Training Plans & Recording of staff achievements
Communicate effectively with other teams within the network and wider if required
Communicate effectively as a team - morning buzz - team meetings etc
Assist with the training of Tour Operators with regards systems
Ad-hoc tasks from Manager
Monitor service levels and report weekly
Recognise market trends and utilise the information to increase figures and brand awareness
Monitor the team's write-off and potential write offs and report Monthly
