Job Title: Team Leader

Job Type: Full time/ Permanent
Salary: £27,644 per annum
(Annual hours contract that requires flexibility on hours - This can be explained at interview), Core hours Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 16:00 , there will also be requirements to work 06:00 - 14:00 on a Friday as required.

Job Purpose:
The objective of this role is to lead a production department to produce finished goods to the agreed
specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour
hours.

Duties include:

* Ownership and accountability of production line
* Achieve daily planned target outputs for the line
* Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels on the line
* Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock
* Good communication ensuring adequate training is carried out with all employees on the line
* Encourage a one team approach where employees treat each other with dignity and respect
* Support on the production lines alongside colleagues
* Ensure high quality and housekeeping standards at all times

Experience required:

* Previous experience in manufacturing and quality is essential
* Excellent communication both written and verbal
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
