Our Client is seeking a Team Leader to join their well established Team.

The Team Leader for the Single Point of Access will provide first line management to the Admin and Hub team and support team colleagues.

Responsible for providing appropriate up to date information, advice and guidance to the team. When required liaising directly with Carers to assist them with their enquiry.

Core Duties Include:

First point of contact to the Admin and Hub team; providing information, advice and guidance to queries or problems.

Support and manage Admin Support and Hub team members to deliver organisational goals and objectives.

Undertake first line management responsibilities including Reviews and PDR monitoring.

Provide emotional support (not counselling) and information and advice to Carers who contact us via the support mailbox.

Escalate issues or concerns to the Service Manager that have been raised that are unable to be resolved at a local level.

Support the Service Manager in the implementation of operational change, revised practice, processes and reporting systems.

Ensure the Admin and Hub team is resourced sufficiently to cover all tasks, liaising with the Services Manager.

Ensure Service Manager are notified of any absences/changes that affect the service.

To help colleagues in the Hub with answering calls or emails if they are busy and need back up support.

Contribute to Carers newsletters and promotional materials as required

WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP

Attend and contribute to meetings with partners from both statutory and non-statutory agencies.

Develop and maintain a network of contacts across the statutory, voluntary and independent sector enabling increase of own effectiveness and knowledge of services and activities for Carers locally

On occasions represent the organisation at other meetings or events and feedback to management as required

Manage escalations from the Admin team relating to partners requesting information and advice from our organisation.

Work closely with the Support teams, referring carers onto the teams as appropriate

Hours are based on 37.5 hours per week
