HR Go are working with a lovely Primary school based in Liverpool.

They need a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with challenging behaviour and social and emotional difficulties to work on a 1:1 basis and another to work with a small group of 4 children.

SEND Teaching Assistant - £70 to £75 per day (dependent upon experience)

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience working with children with special needs, ideally with emotional and challenging behaviour
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to have one processed.
• Have previously worked with children or adults with learning difficulties
• Able to start as soon as possible
• Be able to get to Liverpool for 8.30am to start work
• Have a kind, nurturing personality, but also able to be firm and keep students on task with their work

The role:

• Support children on a 1:1 basis with their studies
• Able to keep children on task in a motivating and caring way
• Calm and nurturing of children within your car, enable you get them on task with their studies
• Provide support where students may be struggling with certain tasks
• Work with the teacher in class to support children within small groups and 1:1

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.PM
