HR Go Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and dedicated long-term supply Teaching Assistant for a SEND school based in Dartford!

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who is seeking a new position in a school that specialises in supporting students with SEND. The Teaching Assistant we are looking for will have a clear background in working with children or adults with SEND - prior experience working in a school setting is also highly desirable!

You will need to be resilient, dedicated, compassionate but above all enthusiastic for the role - you will be expected to form meaningful relationships with the pupils who you may well be working with on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

Understanding of the individual needs of the pupils is crucial; you must be able to confidently assess student progression and comfortably discuss this progress with staff and parents.

You will also have the opportunity of working in a school passionate about creating a sense of community - promoting a positive attitude towards learning. A school that encourages the learning of new skills and a sense of independence.

Requirements for the Role:

• Ability to create great relationships with both pupils and staff
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong experience working with children or adults with SEND.
• Great organisational skills
• Prior experience working in a school environment.
• An Enhanced DBS (this can be obtained through HR Go)
• Able to commit Monday - Friday.
• Someone who is reliable, dedicated, and passionate about education!
