We are looking for a candidate to work for our client as a switchboard operative in Swindon, SN3 6BB. This role consists of 37.5 hours a week, full time, £8.43 an hour. You will be working 5 out of 7 days but could be working on any day due to the shift rota changing for all staff weekly. It will involve working 1 out of 5 weekends. The role consists of... * Receiving internal and external calls, and having to transfer them to the relevant department/ person * Being the first point of contact for people calling the facility. * Managing emergency phone systems to ensure all teams are made aware of issues so that they can be actioned properly * Keeping incident reports up to date and logged correctly * Send out alerts using emergency systems * Communicate to the public both face to face and over the phone to help with their requests * Directing visitors to the relevant areas of the facility * Keeping your work environment clean and well organised * Doing basic admin duties like filing and noting * Using the car park intercom to direct visitors * Eventually training staff members with a similar position to yours A DBS is required for this role, it will either be an enhanced or standard check, when we speak on the phone we can discuss the payment of this.
