We are looking for individuals in the south Manchester area to work as a support worker helping people with learning disabilities or Autism. We keep the person at the centre of everything we do, planning support and ensuring the people we help lead a full and active life while being able to draw on the knowledge and life experience of the key people in their lives. We are looking for individuals who are good communicators enjoy an active lifestyle and enjoy getting into the great outdoors. You will be a natural people person who gets a natural sense of achievement from helping others. * Experience of working as a support worker within learning disabilities or mental health is a huge advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. * You must hold a full UK Manual car Driving licence. * You must be able to demonstrate how your life experience will support you in this role. Hours Full time 39hrs a week on a 4-6 week rolling rota. 1-2 sleep in shifts a week (£62 bonus for each shift) Location Several locations across south Manchester so this can be allocated to best fit individuals.
