Job Title: Stores Person
Job Type: Permanent (On site role)
Location: Whitstable
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 09:00-4:30 (28 hours per week)
Salary: Negotiable - Dependent on experience

Job Purpose:
To ensure component parts are picked and kitted on time without delay to the Assembly lines.

Duties include:

• Inputting and reading data from the database
• Transferring goods safely from area to area
• Overseeing the receipt of goods into the Stores area
• Picking / Kitting for production and Despatch
• Working within other areas of the business when required
• Complying with the Company Health and Safety policy, and adhering to all relevant Health and Safety legislation
• Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
• Preparing and completing kitting procedures, whilst ensuring work areas are clean and tidy

Experience/Skills required:

• Previous stores experience is preferred
• PC Literate, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work both accurately and quickly, whilst working within clearly defined processes
• Attention to detail
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
