Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience working with ASD & Early Years?

HR GO Recruitment Education are pleased to be working with a fantastic special school in Skelmersdale who are looking to recruit an Early Years special needs Teaching Assistant L2. This role involves working with small groups or individual children with ASD and communication difficulties.

The children needing support range from age 4-6 and some have multiple learning difficulties and display some challenging behaviours. Working on specific targets and keeping daily records of progress and next steps is essential and must be fed back to the class teacher on a daily basis

The school resides in a lovely rural area with free parking and/or great bus/train routes. The children have access to Forest School provision so some out door activities may be required. The role of the Teaching Assistant will be needed Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.

This school requires an energetic and experienced Teaching Assistant. They have a very pro active and hands on curriculum which requires energy and passion from the right candidates.
