Solar Sales and Business Development Manager

Location : Yorkshire

Position: Solar Sales and Business Development Manager

Location: Flexible - Areas considered include Leeds, Sheffield, Stoke, Derby, Bradford, Doncaster, York, Hull, and more.

Salary: Basic Salary c£35,000 to £40,000 OTE c£120k uncapped plus car allowance and benefits.

Job Description:

As a Solar Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying suitable commercial and industrial projects for clients looking to reduce carbon emissions while maximising financial returns. Your role involves researching and identifying prospects with individual or multi-site operations that can benefit from the renewable energy solutions offered.

You will be focusing on new business predominately, but with a view to managing the business from initial conversation to completion. A competitive salary and high OTE are offered as a reward for your proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and engage with potential clients interested in renewable energy solutions.

- Develop a pipeline of projects and execute on business development strategies.

- Educate clients on investment opportunities, payback periods, and the benefits of low carbon emissions.

- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven 2 years experience in business development within the energy services sector.

- Knowledge of renewable energy solutions such as solar energy, energy storage.

- Ability to navigate complex sales processes and identify suitable prospects.

- Target-oriented, driven, and passionate about building a pipeline of projects.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
