HRGO are recruiting for a client in Ashford who are looking for a Temporary Shipping Coordinator. As a Temporary Shipping Coordinator, you will support customers through monitoring of daily shipment issues, management of outbound customs queries and monitoring of imports to ensure the delivery schedule is maintained efficiently.
Daily Requirements
Following up on transport complaints: monitor and resolve missed deliveries or documents by carriers.
Facilitating and liaising: ensure careful execution of requests. You will be process orientated, paying attention to shipping dates, labelling, packaging, and stockholding according to customer requirements.
Communicating: a key part of this role is communication with people and around requests.
The ideal candidate:

Is diplomatic under pressure
Is a team player
High school education or GCSE (minimum level C equivalent)
2 + years' experience in a similar role
Excellent customer service experience
Ability to work under pressure and deal with ambiguity
Excellent attention to detail
An efficient personality with strong time management and customer skills
SAP knowledge
Awareness of Customs documentation and inbound / outbound movement would be desirable
