HRGO are currently recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Electrician on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in East Yorkshire. They offer on site parking and excellent transport links so are ideally located for candidates in York, Hull, Doncaster, Leeds and surrounding areas. The shifts on this role are 12 hr shifts, 8 til 8, on a 4 days on 4 days off DDNN RRRR shift pattern.

Duties Include:

• Being part of the multi-disciplined maintenance team providing reactive maintenance
• Planned corrective and preventative maintenance
• Supporting break down activities to ensure maximum equipment availability
• Problem solving activities to prevent repeat failure

Candidates require:

• Have a recognised Electrical Maintenance Apprenticeship
• Be qualified to HNC level in a relevant discipline (desirable) or equivalent with proven experience in preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and repair
• Experience of overhaul and testing of 3 phases
• Experience with: 400V distribution systems, 3 phase motor & control circuits, Inverter drives, PLC & PC control systems, 230V lighting and distribution systems, 24VDC sensors, Transducers and encoders
• Experience of working shifts in a continuous manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills
• Computer literacy skills
