Job Description

Service Office Manger

HRGO are currently recruiting for a Service Manager on behalf of large well established company located in Normanton with a national presence. They have on site parking and fantastic transport links making them ideally located for candidates from Wakefield, Leeds, Barnsley, and surrounding areas.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8 - 5, with an hour for lunch.

Duties Include:

  • Manage the day to day running of a fast-paced service department
  • Manage a team of 4 nightshift duty managers
  • Managing & Monitoring of telemetry
  • Process customer calls for the Service Department.
  • Complete management of manufacturer warranty process.
  • Process chargeable & non-chargeable job sheets to include Fuel Utilities and Fuel 4x4.
  • Recording duty on call forms and adding to breakdown list.
  • Consolidation of the service list.
  • Resolution of service list queries.
  • Create and distribute service & lists.
  • Process on/off/exchanges on to service list.
  • Creation of Management Reports.
  • Plan and maintain the EE Service list to include the application of permits.
  • Oversee the running of all third-party service contracts.

Candidates require:

  • Managerial experience
  • Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to connect naturally with people
  • Work well on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to ensure the work gets done in a timely and effective manner
  • Ability to follow Company policy and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
  • Self-motivation
  • Strong Excel skills
