Senior Data Engineer
In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain by contributing to our Logistics Excellence Projects, developing forecasting capabilities, and building impactful data models. You will collaborate closely with our diverse team of professionals to analyze complex logistics data, find solutions to challenging queries, and ensure the smooth operation of our logistics systems.
What You Will Do:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Logistics Excellence Projects
- Support and implement Performance Boards & KPIs to track progress
- Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to solve complex logistics challenges
- Build and analyze complex logistics data models to extract valuable insights
- Maintain and improve logistics forecasts using advanced programming tools
- Foster strong relationships with sales, logistics, and other supply chain teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in logistics
Who You Are:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in building and utilizing Machine Learning Models for business applications, particularly forecasting
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Nice to have Azure ML
- Passion for analyzing large and complex datasets
- Solid understanding of Power BI and logistics-specific software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders
- Openness to new ideas and a willingness to embrace change
- Fluency in English and strong teamwork skills in an international environment
