Experienced TA/LSA needed for an SEMH school in Warrington

If so, an innovative SEND school located in the vibrant borough of Warrington is looking for an experienced TA/LSA to join their dynamic team. The school has a supportive team, engaging curriculum, and excellent facilities.

The position is One to One support, but you may be expected to work in small groups or providing general support in other classes across the school as required. There is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work.

This role will involve supporting a pupil in Key Stage 2 so experience supporting children in primary is essential, as well as supporting SEMH. You will also need to be Phonics trained or experienced, have experience/knowledge of personal care, and Team Teach or equivalent trained.

The role will be based in the classroom supporting the teacher and the child but there may be some individual or small group activities planned for. Building positive relationships with all staff, pupils and parents will be pivotal to this position.

The school will particularly want to hear from individuals from a sports background as the children can access many sports activities during the afternoons.
