Sales and Customer Service Administrator

We are looking for a full time Customer Service Administrator to join our clients team in Wincanton

£22000- £24000 according to skills, experience, and responsibilities; a generous pension contribution; and a quarterly profit related bonus scheme.

37 per week. Mon-Thurs 9am-5.30pm; Fri 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break each day

They are a family-owned Wincanton-based manufacturing company

They are looking for enthusiastic administrators to join their friendly team in the areas of customer services/management systems.

Essentially, the ideal candidates will need to have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); competent computer skills and high accuracy in data input.

In addition to the core work of the sales and marketing team, there may be opportunities for applicants to develop more senior roles with integrated management systems; supporting customer use of internet control systems; or tele sales.

General

1.

Be prepared to learn additional tasks and responsibilities in order to cover for colleagues as part of a flexible company team.

Awareness of and adherence to key company policies and procedures.

Responsible for contributing to all IMS procedures relevant to the department.

4.

Responsible for day-to-day awareness and reporting of Health & Safety issues within the work area.

Other duties as required by Sales Office Manager.

Specific Sales Office Tasks:

Receive and enter sales orders on computer system.

7.

Ensure customers are notified or any price or delivery discrepancies on orders.

8.

Answer the telephone and direct calls efficiently and as appropriate.

9.

Generate, input and follow-up on quotations.

10.

General office filing.

11.

To deal with sales enquiries for stock items including identifying product, price and delivery.

12.

Create sales invoices.

Additional Responsibilities:

To include one or more of the following tasks, as agreed with Sales & Marketing Director and Sales Office Manager:

Pro-active selling.

Maintain stationery stocks for the Company.

Key Accounts Management.

Receive visitors and/or deliveries.

Support for customers and system.

Specific product sales, eg new products

Administration of GIFAS Enquiries

Update company events calendar

Deputise for Sales Office Manager
