Do you have experience supporting adults with additional needs in a social care environment?

I have a full time, Temp to Perm vacancy for an experienced Residential Support Worker (RSW) to work with adults with additional needs across 2 homes in West Derby, Liverpool. The homes are situated in a lovely area in West Derby, Liverpool and are accessible from the near by motorways.

The residents have a variety of SEND needs including ASD, LD & Mental Health. Duties as a Residential Support Worker would include daily home care chores, accompanying them to medical and social appointments, some personal care and companionship.

The houses are equipped with all the resources for support workers to support them in their daily lives and are modern and homely.

The successful applicant will be a car driver, and have a care qualification up to level 3.

The role requires 28hrs in one home and 12hrs in the other home, with opportunity to work over time and sleeps although this is not compulsory.

The start date for this role is ASAP, and a permanent contract will be offered from week 13 for the right candidate.

De-escalation and restraint training would be an advantage. The rate of pay is £9.50-£10.50 per hour depending on experience.
