Position: Quality Manager

Location: Denbighshire

Hours: Monday - Friday days

Salary up to £35,000p/a

The ideal candidate will have Quality experience within the food industry, duties will be to develop and manage the Quality policies and processes from receipt of raw material, through production and despatch of product; to meet Quality and Health and Safety standards; to maintain BRC and other accreditations; to continuously improve processes, resourcing and delivery; to align Quality processes with strategic planning; to liaise with NPD to ensure standard of Quality processes with new products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To:

• Work with all staff to establish Quality procedures, standards and systems
• Ensure that internal laboratory testing/internal equipment calibration is carried out to schedule and meets required specifications
• Ensure that line check procedures, including the ccps, are monitored effectively; report out of line results immediately to Quality Manager
• Liaise with Quality Manager to set and reach KPI targets
• Monitor, analyse and evaluate Production KPI's, benchmarking when appropriate; produce KPI reports to submit to Board
• Maximise profitability while maintaining Quality standards
• Specify Quality standards with suppliers
• Maintain accurate Quality records
