Job Specification POSITION: Quality Inspector LOCATION: Flintshire HOURS: Monday -Thursday 7:45am-4:15pm Friday 7:45am-12:45pm SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000p/a permanent / days REF: VR2018 Position Summary; for the co-ordination & execution of Inspection activities associated with manufactured parts & assemblies through the application of documented processes & procedures, to ensure consistency of product compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Quality Control & Inspection of manufactured parts delivered to Goods Receiving * Support to Assembly & Test Operations Team with Inspection of parts as deemed necessary * Undertake Final View Inspection of Finished Assembled Units prior to delivery * Compile AS9102 FAI Reports in accordance with requirements as necessary * Perform Audit checks of Finished Parts Stock Items to ensure compliance with specification requirements * Perform Calibration checks on Inspection Equipment as applicable * Ensure site Inspection Equipment Calibration System functions correctly * Perform Investigation Action as required on Non-Conforming Parts * Collate, verify & authenticate Assembly documentation packs Job Requirements, Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Minimum 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment * CMM competent (Some training will be given) * Competency in the usage of a wide range of necessary Inspection measuring & checking devices * Working knowledge of AS9100 & AS9102 (desirable) * Familiarisation in the operation of a QMS * Ability to work on own initiate without the need for direct supervision * Ability to understand & interpret Engineering drawings, standards & specifications * Literacy in Word & Excel software packages * Ability for good communication at all levels * Ability to organise workload to suit operational needs Please call Sue at HR GO recruitment on 0151 3471110 or email your CV to Sue@hrgoliverpool.co.uk
