Purchasing opportunity in this prestigious and successful aviation company. This is an interesting and varied role buying aircraft parts, consumables and other parts associated with the upkeep of corporate and private jets.
It is would be ideal if you had some experience within aviation purchasing but good purchasing experience in an engineering environment with some experience of import & export will also be considered . This opportunity is working on a day shift Monday to Friday and may also require occasional emergency cover assistance.
Key points of the role are to support:
The efficient purchasing of Materials, parts and equipment.
Progress chasing and shortage reporting
New supplier research and evaluation
Ensuring stock levels are within defined parameters
Supplier problem evaluation
Continuous improvement the purchasing function
Coordination of any customs and excise paperwork
You should be used to ERP systems and able to work under pressure, occasionally in time critical situations. Due to location it is essential that you drive.
