Project Manager (Finance SSC)

About my client:
My client is employing around 8000 people worldwide and 850 in Poland with three production plants providing goods to both the retail and foodservice sectors.  We are recruiting for the new SSC in Wroclaw with plans to grow to 150 FTEs in the next few years establishing the European Finance Business Centre.

Location: Wroclaw
Working mode: Hybrid (2/3 days a week from the office)

About the role:

  • Project Managers develop and implement transition strategies supporting BSC management in the decision-making process.
  • Partners with BSC management to drive effective transitions.
  • Partners with GPOs to drive process improvement and process standardization.
  • Supports recruitment process and oversees talent acquisition strategy.
  • Provides support to the BSC management and employees with project and transition-related matters.
  • Provides and analyses transition-related metrics delivering valuable input to the BSC management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for Transition projects within a Program and Transformation Program.
  • Coordinating multiple Transition projects and initiatives across regions.
  • Accountable for the achievement of set milestones.
  • Responsible for status and progress reporting to the Leadership/Management.
  • Managing risks and issues and coordinating resolution for open items.
  • Overall management, planning, and control of execution of the Transition project’s approach and timeline.
  • Defining and driving the Transition project activities.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and leading workshops.
  • Aligning per Transition Management Methodology (incl. quality gates, change requests, etc.).
  • Participating in and leading Transition meetings (calls).
  • Owning communication and relationship with countries (Sending Site).
  • Managing all stages of the Transition process.
  • Ensuring the process documentation is completed.
  • Collecting country/Sending Site requirements.
  • Coordinating Business Case creation and execution.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field - ideally in an SSC/BPO environment.
  • Experience in transition and working in project manager teams.
  • Experience in being part of transitions in an international environment.
  • Substantial project management knowledge.
  • Certification in Project management methodology would be an asset. 
  • Prince2, PMI, or IPMA Certificate – more than welcome. 
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • English fluent spoken and written.
  • Very good people management skills.
