The person appointed will supervise a production line team to ensure products are produced to the required quality standards at the lowest cost. Responsibilities will include: * Setting up production lines to ensure production runs in a safe consistent and efficient manner. * Organise and supervise a team of operators in a smooth & effective manner. Ensure paperwork/computer entries are accurate & timely. * Conduct appraisal interviews with members of team. * Ensure all production is performed in conformance with the QA System. Monitor quality standards, report and highlight problems effectively to management and other departments. The successful applicant: * Will be able to give clear and effective communications of all working instructions to the Production Team * Have the ability to complete paperwork * Meet deadlines and motivate others. * Be able to prioritise workloads while ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy in accordance with GMP. * Must possess good numeracy skills and be able to accurately understand and follow instructions.
