Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative with experience in mechanical/electro mechanical assembly, to join a manufacturing team in Sandwich, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing tasks in a safe working manner and in line with the company's health and safety policies.

They should be fully competent in the safe use and application of various hand and bench tools. Additionally, the candidate should have a good understanding of engineering drawings and work instructions.

The role may also involve occasional customer and supplier visits, requiring a valid driving license and passport. Eligibility to obtain security clearance to SC level is a prerequisite for all candidates.

Responsibilities:

- To assemble simple and complex mechanical/electro mechanical parts together with high focus on quality

- Complete assigned production tasks efficiently and in accordance with company health and safety policies.

- Utilise various hand and bench tools safely and competently.

- Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate production.

- Conduct occasional customer and supplier visits by car, as required.

- Maintain a valid driving license and passport for travel purposes.

- Adhere to security clearance requirements and obtain SC level clearance.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a production operative role within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to work safely.

- Proficiency in the safe use and application of various hand and bench tools.

- Familiarity with interpreting engineering drawings and following work instructions.

- Valid driving license and passport for occasional customer and supplier visits.

- Ability to obtain security clearance to SC level.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
