Production Operative Castle Cary £8.21 per hour Temp to perm after 12 weeks Monday to Friday, 06.00-15.30 or 07.00 - 16.30 Our client is an established food producer and they are looking to recruit a production operative to join their small but established team to manufacture finished products according to recipes, written procedures, production plan in an efficient and safe manner. The role will involve: * Making up packaging ready for production according to the daily plan * Keep packaging levels topped up in filling machines when running * Packing and palletising * Keeping work area clean and tidy * Clean and sanitise all equipment/machinery prior to and after use in accordance with cleaning schedules * Check production weights throughout production and notify the General Manager of any adjustments required and/or any problems * Carry out metal detector tests * Complete production paperwork The role is offered on a temp to perm basis after a successful 12 weeks
