Production Operative

Location: Broadstairs, Kent

Type: Temporary

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17.00

Pay: £11.44 p/h

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of all orders and maintaining high-quality standards for finished goods leaving the factory. The Production Operative will manufacture products to exact dimensions and specifications, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manufacture products to exact dimensions/specifications and maintain high-quality standards.

- Thoroughly check all stock and profile, reporting any shortages or quality issues to the supervisor.

- Keep management informed of day-to-day order progress and communicate any problems or delays.

- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, especially with new system launches.

- Participate in scheduled stock takes.

- Demonstrate good manual skills and ability to carry out work that requires standing and lifting.

- Possess good numeracy and basic IT skills.

- Be reliable with excellent time management skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.

- Basic IT skills for data entry and reporting.

- Reliable with excellent time management skills.
