Our client based in Mere are currently looking to recruit x2 production operatives on a temporary to permanent basis.

Hours of work 39 per week but should be prepared to work overtime

Mon to Thurs - 8am to 4.45pm

Fri 8am - 3.45pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure the machines are running to agreed standards of speed/cleanliness/quality. Highlight to Supervision/Engineering/Quality Management (as appropriate) if this is not possible

• Accurately recording start/stop times and quantities in a timely manner.

• To be present and ready to begin manufacturing at the start of each shif.

• Comply with paperwork requirements for the area; this includes (but is not limited to: Production paperwork, Training Records, In-Process Checks.

• To provide suitable notice to the runner when requiring new or additional components (15 minutes minimum) in order to avoid "waiting" time

• To be aware of and comply with the safety requirements of the dept. This includes (but is not limited to) the wearing of correct PPE, adherence to the Fire Procedure, knowledge of the E-Stops/Guarding on the machines, understanding of the depts "COSHH"

• To contribute fully to any improvements/changes/projects that are being considered/implemented
