This role is all about managing production and the Master Production Schedule, having experience of working with Lean Manufacturing. You will need to be able to liaise with suppliers/manufacturing and customer co-ordinators to ensure that goods are to be received on time.

Duties will include:-

• To manage several suppliers, sending purchase schedules
• To review shipments and keep track of - via air or sea
• To priororitise incoming shipments
• To perform the Master Production Schedule
• To perform Materials Requirements Planning
• Assessment of inventory levels, ensuring production is scheduled correctly
• Material movement experience is a must
• To conduct production planning and scheduling activity

Candidates suited to this role will have gained Lean Manufacturing experience, together with production control experience.

Ideally candidates will have an understanding of SAP, or AS400 (although this is not essential), together with advanced level Excel skills.
