To work as part of a team in providing a comprehensive range of general and departmental portering duties across the hospital. Working to ensure a positive experience for patients, staff and visitors which reflects well for the client.

Duties:

To sort documentation, transport and deliver all patients, goods and equipment to wards and departments.

Report all maintenance issues and hazards to your supervisor

Deliver wheelchairs, beds, stretcher trolleys, trolleys, internal and external electrical vehicles and tugs.

The role will require availability to work weekends over a varying shift pattern at times.

We are looking for an adaptable, professional and courteous person who maintains high standards of personal presentation and ambassadorial expectations of the role, with the ability to work as part of a busy team.

An enhanced DBS is required for this role which HR GO Recruitment can help arrange.

This role could lead to a permanent role within the hospital.

This is an ongoing temporary assignment working various shifts from:

Weekends:

6 am to 2 pm

2 pm to 10 pm

10 pm to 6 am
