Job Title: Payroll Assistant Location: Wednesbury Role: temporary Salary: £8.00 to £12.00 per hour depending on experience Hours: 16 hours per week My client is seeking a payroll assistant to work at their manufacturing facility within Wednesbury. This role is temporary, for a minimum of 8 weeks, and candidates must work on a Monday and Tuesday, although working hours are flexible Duties * Run the weekly payroll for approximately 135 staff * Calculate the weekly hours worked, cross referencing against the computerised time and attendance software package * Allocate correct overtime rates against time and attendance cards * Ensure authorised absence is logged correctly * Run reports for management when requested Experience, Skills & Qualifications * Must have Sage Line 50 Payroll experience * It is essential that candidates can perform the full weekly payroll function * Ensure that management have authorised the working weekly hours and cross reference against time and attendance software * Must be able to do SSP, SMP and holidays * Understand and allocate P45's for leavers * Adding any deductions of earnings and altering any weekly tax codes Benefits * Flexible working hours of 16 hours per week * Free car parking * Excellent pay rate for the right candidate Click to apply for this role, or for further information on this vacancy please email dawn.garbett@hrgo.co.uk or call 01384 212600.
