Job Title: Part Time - HR Advisor
Location: This is a hybrid opportunity but will need to be able to drive to get around sites when required in East Sussex
Pay Rate: £11p/h - £12p/h
Hours: 24 hours per week over 3 days - flexibility around the hours

HRGO Recruitment are looking for a part time HR Advisor to help deal with various HR queries throughout the business. This is to report into the Commercial Director. This will be working for a successful supplier and exporter of high quality processed ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Areas of particular attention:
Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
Reviewing and updating job descriptions
Assisting managers with the selection, interview, and recruitment of new staff
Co-coordinating the appointment and induction process for successful applicants, including the preparation of all necessary employment documentation and terms and conditions of employment
As necessary negotiate terms and conditions of employment with staff.
Providing HR advice to the Commercial Director for any necessary work reviews and work change processes
Using the Company HR information systems (BrightHR) as a system administrator to access, input and compile all necessary employee data
Identifying any development needs within the BrightHR system to ensure the best optimisation of the system
Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations regarding HR
Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
Provide support to for all necessary employment investigations, including grievance, capability, and disciplinary processes
Acting as the point of contact for the hiring of Agency/Temporary employees as required across the business.
Organisational and administrative skills
Proven work experience as an HR advisor, HR consultant or similar role
Holds a formal HR qualification or working towards a formal HR qualification
Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff
Hands-on experience with IT and HR systems
Knowledge of employment legislation
Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
