Operations Controller Interesting and varied flight operations controller opportunity with this global and expanding aviation company. As part of this highly organised team based at Farnborough, you will confidently manage worldwide flight schedules, enabling safe and timely dispatch. Key parts of the role include: * Working closely with the engineering department to ensure aircraft are up to date with their maintenance schedules * Planning and organising the company flight operations, adhering to statutory and Company regulations * Supporting the Senior Operations Controller in scheduling aircrew, and liaising with fleet captains and business managers * Management of pilot duty and rest records * When required, the Ops Controller will participate with the management team to initiate Operational Procedures, such as Emergency Response Plans * Prepare and evaluate operations concerning flight briefs, Operational flight plans, Flight Time Limitations including FTL compliance and completing crew duty checks * Oversee workload and standards of the ops team section reporting to the controller You will have ideally worked within a business aviation environment, with a solid background in flight planning and air ops control. You will have confidence in dealing with a fast-paced environment, with the capability to handle complex issues. Ideally you will have: * Solid understanding of regulations within aviation and their impact on daily operations * Ability to work and maintain relationships across professional and operational disciplines * Effective communication skills, including with senior personnel and our VVIP clients * Experience with Jeppesen and Microsoft Office software. As part of the 24/7 nature of the business, the Operations Controller will be required to work 12 hour shifts to include days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
