Operational Planning Director (Aviation) Key senior opportunity within a dynamic and expanding cargo airline, operating out of Heathrow Airport. You will be responsible for the conversion of commercial plans into operational plans, in an efficient and cost-effective manner, considering many parameters within the company. Furthermore, you will control the airline's schedule, with the ability to make pivotal trade-off decisions when required. The other responsibilities of the Operational Planning Director include (but aren't limited to): * Managing the duties of all staff within the Operations department, to ensure plans are effective and compliant with regulations. * Coordinating charter requests with the client's best interests in mind. * Overseeing the opening and closure of the stations within the network. * Preparation of weekly reports, regarding key parameters, such as aircraft and crew utilisation. * Maintaining an impressive level of communication with OCC, allowing smooth flight transfers as the 72-hour window approaches. * Contributing towards the control and planning of flight crew resources * Drafting and completing the financial budget, with additional reports for any deviations. * Ensuring that all staff under your supervision are fully trained and organised. You must have an impressive background in aviation coupled with a strong knowledge of EASA Regulations, within a similar role. Your communication and organisational skills will be exceptional, along with having the confidence to make decisions whilst under pressure. A solid understanding of operational systems and Microsoft office is a distinct advantage, Full job specification on application. This is a permanent role.
