Job Specification POSITION: Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer LOCATION: Flintshire HOURS: Monday - Friday (No Weekends) Shifts Days and Nights SALARY: £34,000p/a + 36 hour week + Overtime REF: VR/00817 Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to work within a fast-paced environment working on a shift rota basis Monday - Friday 12-hour days and nights. Job Specification: * Repair and maintain all factory equipment efficiently. * Maintain equipment in accordance with agreed schedules. * Ensure the service and work area is kept clean and tidy. * Ensure all H&S, hygiene and quality control procedures are adhered to. * Ensure all admin procedures, factory and machine documentation/drawings are updated, stored and readily available. * Act in accordance with the applicable Health & Safety policies * Responsible for assisting in all machinery, plant and building maintenance. * Considerable emphasis is placed on rapid response to machine breakdowns due to the necessity to minimise delays in the manufacturing process or machine standing time. * Responsible for the analysis and repair of Mechanical & Electrical maintenance, breakdowns and provide out of hours support when required. Qualifications and Key Skills: * Minimum of 3+ years-experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment - desirable * H.N.C/ONC minimum/City & Guilds qualification or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering * Experience of planned maintenance and attending breakdowns * Ability to work to tight deadlines * Proactive approach to Health & Safety in the workplace * Ability to work as part of a team * Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Please call Nicola for more information on 0151 3474900 or email your CV to nicola@hrgoliverpool.co.uk
