Position: Multi Skilled Engineers
Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: Ad Hoc Shifts (Days/Nights)
Salary: £26.50 (PAYE) / £35.00 (Umbrella)

HRGO are proud to be supporting our Manufacturing client in their search for a Multi Skilled Ad Hoc Engineer based in Ellesmere Port.

Role Objectives:

• To support the manufacturing process by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults.
• To respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and ensure maximum focus is given.
• To fault find in an effective and efficient manner whilst utilising the various machines historic / information documentation
• To establish harmonious relations with the operational staff and to work flexibly with them.
• Ensuring that machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard.
• Assist the department in achieving and exceeding departmental goals.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance
• Action any necessary repairs and ensure all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised.
• Ensure adherence to company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Critical skills and experience:

• HNC equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Basic Mechanical experience
• 18th Edition wiring regs.
• Able to read technical drawings
• Good computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience of using peripheral systems
