My client is looking for an electrical biased engineer with mechanical skills to join their very busy team. The position is working on a rota basis over a 3 week period, 12 hour shifts including both days and nights and 2 weekends out of 4.

This is a fast-paced role which can be high-pressured at times so you will have previously worked in a similar environment where you are the 1st line response to breakdowns on business critical machinery. You will be working as part of a team of 4 at any one time.

You will hold a formal electrical qualification and ideally have PLC knowledge, ladder logic knowledge would be highly desirable. Previous experience of producing components, welding, machine work or turning would also be advantageous.

Ideally you will previously worked within the manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors and so have a good understanding of strict audit and production standards.
