HR GO are looking for a Medical Equipment Library Assistant to work at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

Hours are 37.5hrs per week, working 5 days out of 7.

Duties will include:

• Collection and delivery of medical devices
• Contribute to the upkeep of devices within the MEL department
• Ensure maximum availability of devices
• Support the activities of the MEL team
• Routinely scan wards and clinical areas to keep MEL databases up to date with device location
• Undertake cleaning of the medical devices
• Remove devices from use if failure occurs
• Undertake stock control tasks and maintain stock records and delivery notes
• Communicate with members of staff professionally
• Answer and respond to queries
• Organise and prioritise allocated tasks

You must be a confident user of Microsoft Packages (Word and Excel) and be comfortable with using a computer.

You will require an updated DBS processed by HR GO unless you have a DBS on the update service. We also require 3 years references.
