Mechanical Design Engineer
MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Salary: $80 - $110k p.a (negotiable) plus benefits
Are you looking for a Mechanical Design Engineering role in Sydney where you will be involved in the whole product introduction lifecycle, from concept through to full product launch? The Role
In this Mechanical Design Engineer role, you'll already have around 5 years' experience to draw on as you co-lead projects with senior members of the industrial design team. You will communicate effectively at all levels, particularly with suppliers and manufacturing partners in China.
Skills and experience
* FEA analysis on Solidworks
* Electrical safety, food and chemical compliance
* Tolerance stack up analysis
* Plastics/injection moulding - characteristics & manufacturing processes (PFMEA)
* Electro/mechanical/EMC products
* CFD, DFM/DFMA
* Product evaluation/validation, testing protocols
* A background in motors, drives and controls - nice to have but not essential
