Maintenance Technician
Ellesmere Port
£50,014 Per Annum
Monday to Friday (Mornings/ Afternoons / Nights)

HRGO are proud to be supporting our growing client in their search for a Maintenance Technician - Electrical Bias which is based in Ellesmere Port.

Role Objectives:

• Expected to conduct maintenance across the site.
• Address breakdowns on site ensuring that there is always a rapid response, and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised. Always endeavour to reduce downtime of site plant and machinery.
• Conduct repairs to plant and equipment during production, effectively and efficiently.
• To conduct PPM's, whilst always ensuring that there is a pro-active approach to planned maintenance and a high PPM output.
• To retrain in new methodology, technology and engineering techniques as the business needs arise.
• To perform workshop duties such as machine repairs, ensuring the availability of critical spares and component manufacture.
• Deliver improvement work on machinery to increase plant OEE.
• Adhere to Health and Environmental (S, H & E) Policy, taking an active role in the Health and Safety requirements on site on behalf of the Maintenance department.

Critical Skills and Experience:

• Qualified in HNC or Time Served Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Multi skilled discipline.
• Experience of integrated systems
• Experience with automatic packaging and palletising systems
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems - Siemens
• Knowledge of AC invertors and/or servo drive systems
• Great communicator
• Computer literate (Microsoft Excel/ Office and Teams)
