HRGO are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing client based in Ashford. You will be working Monday- Saturday on a rotating shift pattern of 06.00-15.00/ 15.00-00.00hr with the opportunity for overtime.
You will be Required to provide high standard of maintenance throughout the Production areas, to include the preventative maintenance of machines and equipment; as well as responding to emergency machine breakdowns through the site.
Responsibilities and Duties
Preventative Maintenance.
Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose.
Installations of new machines and equipment.
Work with and install single phase/three phase electrical circuits.
Actively promote safe working practices.
Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard in accordance with work orders and pre-determined specifications
Fault finding, testing, and the removal or adjustments of existing fittings, fixtures and parts
Qualifications and Skills Required
Demonstrate sound decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills
A systematic approach to problem solving
Work as part of a team
Be able to work on own initiative
17th Edition qualification desired but not essential
Current knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
Mechanical
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Experience
You will have experience working with in an Engineering team.
Have knowledge and experience of PLC equipment (fault finding)
Work with and install single phase/three phase electrical circuits
Knowledge and experience on a wide range of machines.
