HR GO are recruiting for a well known and high end client seeking an experienced IT Network Support Technician to join their existing team and be part of their endlessly successful company.

Responsibilities:

• Helpdesk role levels 1^st, 2^nd line support

• Ensure all consumable stock items are ordered and ready for use at all times

• Selection and purchasing of new laptops, PC's and other hardware

• Perform maintenance of equipment

• Oversee internal all-in-one printing, fax and copiers and to liaise with maintenance partner when required

• Keeping records of hardware purchase dates, specifications, Serial Numbers all within our defined data sheets

Specific projects will also be designated to the job-holder on an as and when basis.

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skills / experience:

• Previous experience in supporting users in a multi-site, networked PC environment advantageous.

• Own driving license (required for this multi-site support role)

• Be fit and able for this sometimes physically demanding role

• Working knowledge of the following systems/software;

• All Microsoft Operating Systems

• Microsoft Active directory management

• Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 including hybrid Exchange with Office 365

• Microsoft Terminal Services / Remote Desktop

• Microsoft Office 365

• Apple client based backup utilizing Apple TimeCapsules and other mainstream TimeCapsule devices

• Working knowledge of the following hardware/technologies;

• Apple MAC computers and their operating systems in the business environment

• Apple iPhone, iPad

• Cabling of Category 5e & 6e Networking

• Wireless networking and security

• Endpoint security software

Flexible approach: This position can and will demand additional hours when major projects are in progress

Successful candidate must hold a full and clean UK drivers licence and access to their own vehicle

days of work will typically be Monday to Friday within normal office hours but may require weekend working depending on business needs and projects.

Starting salary ; £21,000pa - £22,000pa
