I am currently looking for an Installations/ Project Manager Manager to join the project team.
The successful applicant will need a solid understanding of site processes and will act as the primary interface between the principal contractor and the clients team
Applicants will benefit from having experience in the furniture making/cabinetry manufacturing process, as well as an understanding of CAD drawings and surveying.
Applicants will be required to manage site requirements for installation teams and be pro-active and approachable, working as part of an integrated team.
They are based near Yeovil in Somerset where they design and manufacture bespoke interiors which are installed all around the world. Working with a variety of architects, interior designers, project managers, quantity surveyors and private clients across a broad range of projects.
This is a full time position based at the Somerset office with site attendance throughout the working week.'
Project sites are 1-3 days per week dependent on project demand.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
A vehivle is provided in this role
Project Tasks
Management administration of the clients projects to include site installations, preinstallation preparation and site coordination. To include;
Compliance to all processes and procedures as per the clients requirements
Compliance to all processes and procedures as per site requirements
Ensure the smooth running of site installations, including sub contract installation teams
Ensure CITB/CIS contractor compliance is followed as set out by each project commercial agreement and the HSE
Scenario project installation and report on positive or negative changes to project margins.
Complete, store and communicate project information, covering;
Site surveys
Site photography (as and when required and appropriate)
Humidity readings throughout project installation
Site working relationships
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
Accurately undertake surveys and transfer information accurately
