My client is an international consumer brand with over 500,000 product users worldwide, offering a comprehensive remuneration package for the successful applicant, to include relocation assistance and Visa sponsorship. Based in Singapore, they are looking for an Industrial Designer (CMF) to join their Product Team.

About the Company

I'm recruiting for a leading consumer product company wanting to add a creative, hands-on Industrial Designer to the Product Team. The team are involved with all the company's industry-leading designs, collaborating with well-known brands and international event organisers. The Role

You will help the company stay ahead of the game by keeping up to date with new material innovations and the latest trends through extensive research, collaboration and testing. You will also:

● Innovate new materials/material combinations with specific functional goals

● Work with the design team's concepts, using your colour, material and finish expertise

● Collaborate with suppliers to design, test and validate your new material ideas

● Create and maintain a material resource library with the goal of inspiring the design team

● Collaborate with manufacturers to define CMF requirements and sign off on samples/ first articles

Skills and experience

● Degree in Product/Industrial/Fashion design

● 3-5 years' experience as a designer (product/CMF/textile/fashion)

● Experience with soft goods (textiles, fabrics, foams)

● Experience sourcing and working closely with factories

● Hands on aptitude for prototyping and testing

● High attention to detail

● Fluent in English, Mandarin is a plus

● Creative ability to provide "out of the box" solutions

● Motivated team player
