CNC Offline programmer - CAD /CAM Programmer required for this large aerospace precision engineering company. This permanent opportunity involves producing 3 and 5 axis CNC programs with supporting documentation from both 2D drawings and 3D models. You must have Hypermill experience.

You will programming often complex high precision parts for CNC Mills and some CNC lathes, resolving any post processor issues, working with the shop floor in proving the program and planning manufacturing methods and operating procedures (this will include any jig and fixture design).

You will also help with the continuous improvement initiatives by improving efficiency on any previous programs where possible and reducing scrap.

You will also use your knowledge and experience to support the estimating function with cutting times and to generally support the shop floor where possible with technical support.
