POSITION: Hygiene Manager

LOCATION: Flintshire

HOURS: Monday-Friday

SALARY: £25,000p/a circa

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping & Hygiene, Chemical Control.
• Achievement of site cleaning standards.
• Documented sign-off.
• Environmental swabbing and GMP KPI Team training and development.
• ASH Management.
• Hygiene audits Raw material waste and chemical and laundry contracts Waste-water management Ordering of supplies, PPE and staff side cleaning materials.
• Stock-take as required.
• Cleaning procedures and schedules
• Hygiene equipment and tools to do the job
• Attendance of Hygiene daily review Member of the HACCP team.
• Hygiene risk assessments, First aid points ,Pest control, Continuous improvement of quality standards
• Adhere to QMS - Housekeeping & Hygiene, Chemical Control.
• Achievement of hygiene standards - daily inspection and swab results - follow up corrective actions.
• Keep up to date with best practice and drive change through the business
• Complete GMP and hygiene audits to a schedule. Safe storage and removal of raw material waste / Recycling. Safe storage of cleaning chemical usage and disposal. Management of laundry items and PPE.
• Develop the team through continuous training.
• Develop and maintain hygiene documentation to BRC standard.
• Attend daily Hygiene meetings, monthly Technical meetings and HACCP meetings.
• Complete corrective actions highlighted by Pest control audits
• Be visible on the production floor-setting standards and leading by example
• Role model for attributes and behaviours (see list below)
• Keep records of GMP data and analyse to show continuous improvement in hygiene processes.
