A new and exciting opportunity for an experienced driven HRIS Systems Implementation Manager has been created to join my client a leading global organisation in greater London.

This role is overall responsible for developing and maintaining MI and reporting of key people metrics to enable analysis of business performance and impact of People team activity. It is a pivotal role to lead on data analysis within the team, helping drive decision making for People activities using the power of data and insights.

Our client is looking for a HR IT Systems Leader with previous IT Project Management and Leadership capabilities with day-to-day management of service desk team leader and continuous improvement teams. Experience of leading and evaluating change- required to review and recommend changes where required to current systems strategy and implementation processes. Commence Project Management blueprints for continuous improvement team. Review current customer service provision with BAU service desk and propose recommendations to support business in more focused way.

In this role, you will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you will have experience as a data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. Make recommendations about the methods and ways in which a company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems.

Using data analysis skills to build sustainable systems, processes, and tools to support the wider People team in recording, collating, tracking and analysing people data to provide clear, meaningful and relevant insight to inform and shape the people strategy to achieve business objectives.

You will design and implement data processes as appropriate to develop our reporting capability and produce MI on planned and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards and metrics. You will be expected to interpret data to spots anomalies and identify trends as well as provide insights on key activity areas as outlined below. You will need to work with key stakeholders across the People team and Finance teams and other management team members to discuss and clarify requests for projects and data, highlight issues and make recommendations for improvements. Using data visualisation skills, you will need to design and write detailed reports and make presentations to the team.

Ensuring compliance with Data Privacy and Protection guidelines as well as confidentiality is critical at all times and other duties as assigned by management.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential functions satisfactorily.

  • Collecting and interpreting data for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyse data, working closely with the HR Operations team
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information
  • Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
  • Work with a team of analysts across the Group and other associates to process information
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Preparation of data for bi-annual compensation cycles

People Dashboard

  • Ongoing development of key metrics dashboard and regular reporting to include - headcount, attrition, ethnicity, gender at a company and departmental level.
  • Working with the central data team to make continuous improvements and iterations to the People dashboard managing HR requirements on data analysis to include but not limited to reasons for leaving and exit interview analysis, recruitment and placement data, talent planning, and engagement at a company level as well as departmental and job level analysis to produce meaningful insights.
  • Production of data for reporting and dashboards

Headcount / Workforce planning

  • Work with HR Ops to ensure that admin/data systems and processes are fit for purpose and adhered to for accurate data input and extrapolation from HR data systems
  • Coordinate accurate and reliable headcount data to interface with people planning and finance to facilitate workforce planning including data checking from HRIS

Engagement tools

  • Lead the analysis of data and produce insights on out employee engagement tools
  • Develop regular reporting to monitor trends to support People Partners and Business heads to action plan on ways to boost employee morale and engagement based on the data analysed
  • Support on action planning and tracking of improvement initiatives to measure success

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications

A degree in the following subjects is beneficial in developing a career in data analysis:

Computer Science, Finance/Statistics, Information Management or related fields

An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving

Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques

Understanding of data warehousing and techniques

Previous work with tools such as PowerBi (or other dashboarding tools like Tableau or Qlik), querying data from excel or a database and visualisation skills into a dashboard would be beneficial

SQL database query skills

Ability to question and troubleshoot data
