HR Project Manager - Hybrid Role
£50,000 -£60,000 + Excellent Benefits
We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced driven HR Project Manager to join my client a leading global organisation. Our client is looking for looking for an experienced IT project manager who can coach a team and create templates and frameworks to create a strong continuous improvement team, who can listen out and suggest changes, tooling, and methodology. You will need experience of previously working with tools such as PowerBi or other dashboarding tools like Tableau, querying data from excel or a database and visualisation skills into a dashboard would be beneficial. Is able to 'tell the story via dashboard and data presentation to others in order to support them in their roles and enhance the visibility of the HR team.
You will have previous experience of implementing HR systems in similar organisations and at a similar scale from vendor selection through to Go Live coupled with excellent knowledge and understanding of HR and payroll processes whilst also being able to link that into the bigger strategic picture.
The role will support the Senior Manager, People Operations who is responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of the project to implement new systems and processes to transform the services offered across HR and Payroll.
A key component of the role is your ability to work with the various areas in the HR function and the business to ensure excellent process architecture is in place, delivering the required outcomes. This will support the transition from the current ways of working, adopting legacy systems, to new ways of working to support implementation of the new system, and any other changes to process or policy transforming services.
Key Responsibilities
Successfully build and calibrate the system to reflect our processes, workflow, documentation, and reporting requirements.
Manage stakeholder relationships sharing progress, consulting where required and working in a fully collaborative way
Lead on the testing of any build to ensure it is in line with the specification and scoping agreements.
Ensure that the system integrates with other enterprise systems where applicable. Where integration is not possible, ensure a suitable and sustainable alternative is put in place i.e., extracting data in a format and arrangement compatible with the destination software to allow bulk imports without requiring any manual manipulation.
Using the systems standard reporting suite, work with the team to design and build a range of reports and dashboards for a wide user group.
Lead on the migration of data from legacy systems, liaising with technical teams as required.
In collaboration with the vendor, develop a robust test plan, involving key users in this phase and seeking feedback from both a technical and usability perspective.
Education/Experience
An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques
Ability to question and troubleshoot data
Previous experience of implementing HR systems in similar organisations and at a similar scale from vendor selection through to Go Live
Excellent knowledge and understanding of HR and payroll processes whilst also being able to link that into the bigger strategic picture.
Strong influencing and change management capabilities and good interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent prioritisation and collaboration skills
