Customer Service Advisor
Hours: Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00 (may be subject to change)

Here at HRGO we're currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisors for our client Serco, who are one of the leading providers of outsourced customer services on behalf of central and local Government organisations.
As a Customer Service Advisor you'll be the first point of contact for one (or a number of) public services. Responsible for both inbound and outbound calls, the people you speak to will have a range of questions or concerns - and using a calm and considered approach you'll provide important support and advice at a time of need, recording this in the relevant systems as you go.
You won't be alone as you do this though. As well as getting all the training and equipment that you'll need to get started, you'll receive ongoing support from Team Leaders and your fellow Advisors.
What you'll need to do the role
To be successful in this role you'll first and foremost need to have strong communication skills. So as well as an excellent telephone manner, keyboard and writing skills, you'll also need to be a good listener - someone with an empathetic and non-judgemental ear who can extract and retain information from customers.
You'll naturally need to have the ability to use multiple IT systems, and accurately capture and record customer information. You'll also be able to work within defined quality guidelines and maintain good practices, tailoring your support to fully resolve customer queries in line with these.
This role is available to start 6th January 2021 for 3 days training and. successful applicants will be required to undertake a criminal records DBS check.
The rate of pay is between £9.43 an hour.
