Working Tuesday-Friday 10pm-7.30am - 10-hour shift

Night shift HGV Commercial Vehicle Technician required for our client a state-of-the-Art workshop with state-of-the-art technology based in near Heathrow working for one of the largest workshops in providers of support services to the Commercial Automotive sector.

My client is now seeking to recruit an experience HGV Technician who has a minimum Level 3 City and Guilds or similar. You must possess at least two years recent experience as an Commercial HGV Technician in a Workshop, you must be fully qualified as a Motor Technician and have your own tools. Have extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components, and associated vehicles.

The ideal candidate must be a team player, able to work to deadlines and targets but also be self-motivated, organised, and able to multitask; to cope with the constant flow of work. Good servicing and diagnostic skills are required for this position.

Night shift HGV Technician role

• You will provide technical work to the highest standards in line with strict health and safety requirements for equipment, machines and tools.
• You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of vehicles and trailers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls.
• You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV's and trailers.

Night shift HGV Technician Experience required

• Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but no essential).
• The successful HGV Technician must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
