HGV 1 Drivers GBP12.50-GBP15p/h + Bonus Opportunities Contract - On-going Work FOR 2 YEARS MINIMUM Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Experienced LGV 1 Drivers required in the Cambridgeshire areas for exciting on-going contract for reputable and established haulier. Hourly salaries are starting from GBP11-GBP14 per hour (GBP12.50-GBP15 per hour for drivers pay under LTD or Umbrella companies). We are looking to offer a minimum of eight CE drivers work on a variety of shift patterns and different operations to suit the driver. Main duties and responsibilities include the following: � Communication with clients and transport personnel throughout shifts. � Completing daily checks of your vehicle and following company procedures always. � Managing personal compliance (inclusive of rest periods), in accordance with WTR and tachograph laws. � Ensuring loads and vehicles are safe and secure, always. � Adhere to time-sensitive delivery and collection times. � Ensure that all paperwork is completed promptly, and any PODs are returned to the correct member of company staff. The successful Class 1 drivers will have: � A valid CPC, UK driving licence with C+E entitlement and tachograph card. � A professional, positive and reliable attitude towards work. � Minimum of 6 months HGV experience. � A good understanding of the UK road networks and ability to read maps is essential. � Experience of using both manual and automatic gear-boxed within an articulated vehicle.
