HGV 1 Drivers Required Location: Cannock Start Times: 04:00 -- 08:00 (Days, 50 hours per week plus overtime) PAYE: GBP10.25p/h New Passes Welcome and would be Temp to Perm after 12 weeks. Responsibilities of the HGV Class 1 Driver: Ensure you do your daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use To ensure you arrive at your job on time Ensure you inform the shunt operators of any problems in good time i.e. if running late Ensure all paperwork is correct and physically checked against your container and seal number Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the highway code Ability to communicate effectively with the customers, shunt operators, container control staff and other depots, understand requirements and communicate accurate information on time as required.
